COMUNIDAD No. 1 ~ Bramaderos

A rich MEZCAL of 5 wild/semi-wild agaves: barril, bicuishe, madrecuishe (all varietals of Karwinskii), coyote (Americano), and Mexicano (also called dobadaan, rhodacantha), with cultivated espadín, grown at +/- 5000 feet in shaley ferriferous soils near Miahuatlan. Unusually complex, soft, and very clean: Distiller Alberto Ortiz, “Don Beto”, is a master of Karwinskii. Bramaderos, pop. 578, is at 5500 feet. The batch was distilled October 4, 2017. 731 bottles.
